    Physics momentum
    A car moving at 20 m/s crashes into a wall and is brought to rest in 0.1 s. What is the average force in kN exerted on a 75-kg dummy by the seat belt?

    Average deceleration = 20/.1 = 200

    Average force = 200 times mass = 200 x 75 /1000 kN = 15 kN
