Smoothie recipee for weight gain?
I want a smoothie recipe to gain weight? I prefer a banana or pineapple smoothie.. because strawberry and all is not available around here. I usually blend banana ,milk, peanut butter and some honey.. but I want it to taste better and want something else too in it to gain more weight and all.I think I am just upset for being so lean.
I don't like adding protein powder because I fear it will damage my health?

Protein powder in moderation will not damage your health and is used to bulk up.
Your recipe sounds good, but I would eliminate the peanut butter and use maybe chopped walnuts, or you can buy it made like peanut butter, for a different taste. How about soy milk, vanilla flavour instead of milk.
Your physique is determined by genetics; you may not be intended to weigh a lot.

Protein powder shouldn't be bad for you, but you can just add tofu for protein, and for complete (complementary) proteins you add dairy, nuts, seeds, or grains. If you are vegetarian, you might be lacking iron, so need a source of that (a multi-vitamin pill, blackstrap molasses (not easy to find), some seaweeds).
I would add wheat germ, and I would leave out milk and use yogurt, which has those digested proteins and acidopholus bacteria good for the adult intestine, the flora. Some people add green vegetables too. Fresh parsley has a very high vitamin C content ounce for ounce, but you might not like it in a smoothy.
If you can get small berries, they tend to have anti-oxidant properties.

I am thinking you are Asian right? Probably why you haven't tried yogurt. I have never heard of popular soy causing cancer. It is probably one of the most digestible drinks I know. So many food products made of soy.
You can buy almond butter as well, same consistency as peanut butter.

I am American. I love Indian food.
Indians eat plenty of yogurt so that is a surprise to me that you haven't tried it. I'm wondering if you are protein deficient.

East Indians don't actually eat the milk yogurt they make for cooking. It isn't like the yogurt we eat with different flavours.
