I am looking for a repair kit for a shower diverter.
The shower diverter valve/plunger on my tub came apart. I would like to purchase a kit to replace the diverter valve.

Since diverter spouts are so inexpensive we don't repair them we simply replace them. Diverter spouts are inexpensive and easy to replace. Look under the spout next to the wall line and if you see a square hole then you have a compression type spout.(see image) If no square hole then you have a screw in type.(see image) To remove a compression type spout you take a allen head wrench in the correct size and unscrew to allen head screw and pull the spout out. To remove a screw in type just put a wrench on it and screw it out counterclockwise. Replace with the same type. Good luck, Tom
