    Ssdi & child support
I thank you for your reply. I suppose I was not specific enough in my question. My son is over twenty one, so there is no current support. The state of Oregon is garnisheing my social security disability for support in arears. I have been looking through Oregon, rules and ssdi rules but I haven't been able to find anything that tells me the amount of money they can take out when a person is still grossing less than 10,000, a year?

This post needs to be combined with the other thread. If you want to add more or comment then just use the answer box at the bottom of the thread it will make things much easier. That said, it isn't a set amount it is a percentage. In most states it is about 65% of income that can be garnished. Also in most states arrears also rack up interest so really the faster it gets paid off the better.
