    Hey

I am a 23yr old male who got chraged with mischief under 5000 when I was 18 with my friends. Would my record be erased by now? Can I travel europe without getting a pardon? Where would I go to get a record check?

    Hello moss:

Records aren't erased automatically no matter how much time elapses. Europe has a lot of countries. Some might let you in, others might not. You can get a record check by googling "background check" and choosing a company.

If you can get a passport you should be able to travel as a tourist.

You probably don't - and you certainly wouldn't get a pardon.

You would need to get your record expunged. You would need to consult with an attorney about that.

You can hire an attorney, and file a motion in the court where you were convicted to have it explunged.

As for as the passport you can get one, and the crime should not effect getting a visa into most nations.
