Recently there was an order of protection put up between me and my fianca because he is 19 and I'm 15. Is there any way to get it droped early. He never did anything wrong or hurt anyone.

Well that depends on a few different things. It looks like you are underage and that may be a problem without your parents consent. I know in Colorado if you were an adult there is a process depending on who filed there will be the initial hearing to see if a temporary order is necessary, if it is the judge will issue the order with another court date for both parties to appear at and give their version of the facts. At that time the judge will determine if the temporary order should become permanent or for a certain amount of time or conditions to the order. If you are an adult you can (if you are the victim) write a request to the judge and ask for a dismissal of the order. If you are the defendant you may also do this and the judge will hear the reasons and seek permission of the other party and possibly dismiss. It really is a case by case process and the circumstances in each case. But a permanent order does not necessarily always mean permanent. It also depends on if this is a criminal protection order because a crime was committed or if this was a civil order BIG DIFFERENCE on the ability to get one changed.
