Can I use American Maytag in Europe?
The electricity in my country is 240volt, 50HZ.
I have a washer and dryer from the company Maytag, the model number is MET3800TW1.
I connected with a trasformer that reduces the 240volt to 110volt and gives the machiene 2500watts. The washing machiene is working well but the dryer is not heating. I try to connect 240volts but it was bad.
I do have the diagram of the wires if you need.
Do you think I can work with this machiene in my country?

If the machine is sold in the US or Canada it is built to run on 60Hz. I am not an electrician but I believe that if they are run on 50 Hz it will cause the electric motors and eletronics to burn out prematurely.
