    Restitution
    I took 1234 dollars to clerk of courts for a case that I haven't even been found guilty of yet. They put it in escrow and backed out of the deal. So I am taking it to trail can I get my money back.

    So we are clear on this they struck a deal with you on whatever charges you had and part of it was restitution and then the renigged on it? If that is the case then yes you should be able to get your money back. If the deal was broken then they should not be keeping the money.

    Have the said or implied any reason why they think they can keep it?
