    Sale of Fixed Assets
    What is the accounting treatment of agents fees for the sale of a non current asset, Should they be expensed or capitalised?

    Agents fee on disposal should be charged to disposal account which will reduce the disposal receipts. These fees are payable to the agent for his services which results in an ultimate disposal of the asset.
