    Spasms of the right eye
Hi there well for the last few months my right eye has been rather weird it will have a small spasm for about 30 seconds then go OK again then will do it again a while latter this is almost every day and I am wondering if anyone knows if this is bad or good I don't want to go to the doctors if it is nothing serious but am getting worried as it is still ongoing. When it happens if someone is looking they can even notice my eye doing it.

    Thanks in advance

Are you under a tremendous amount of stress lately or have you been nervous about an upcoming event?

My mum used to suffer spasms of the eye when she was under a lot of stress or when she had to participate in something unpleasant… like going to court. Sometimes the spasms would not go away on their own, to the point that it interfered with her quality of life. She sought the aid of her doctor who would sometimes prescribe medication to relax the muscles. Not a full prescription, just a few to get her over the hump.

If it is stress related, there really is no way to determine when it will stop. Probably when things smooth out. If it doesn't go away on it's own, which it most likely will, try discussing this with your doctor.

    Good luck.

I have had those happen to me and I found that a chirpractic adjustment helps more than anything. My spasms were the result of pinched nerves in the neck.
