Finding a school won't be hard. The difficult part will be to find a job once he finishes the course.

Yes, first check that out and even get some kind of guarantee. What is he doing to help himself? Is he interested in any other kind of future instead of driving a truck?

Well he is trying to find a job back where he lives but isn't having much luck. He friended me on Facebook because I'm a truck driver myself and he started asking me questions and I told him I would have to look it up for him.

His background is going to prevent him from getting a lot of jobs. Plus, the job outlook is still crummy. What state does he live in? Do you know what his offense was?

In England, perhaps Mexico ? Where helps.
In the US, you will just have to apply and apply, it will of course not be one of the major carriers so check with regional or local carriers.

I have merged your threads,
No there is no school that he can go to that will be paid for by the company. Almost any will let you attend if you pay the fee.
As noted, you will need to look at smaller lower paying companies.
