    PDF fillable forms
I have an excel document that I converted to a pdf document. I need to have it uneditable with a few fill in the blanks so that the other employees can put what they need to in it. I know it can be done using adobe acrobat but the company is not willing to pay for it. Is there another way to go about doing it either as a pdf or excel or some other document?

Leave the document as an Excel document. UNLOCK the cells you want to remain editable to the user (click the cells and CTRL-1), then lock the sheet which will make all cells untouchable except the ones you unlocked.
