Basement shower P trap and an upflush
    Where to begin??
I am in the infant stages of finishing our basement. Want to install a full bath down there and have had the concrete busted up, drain pipes for a toilet (4"), vanity (2") and a shower (2") laid and cemented back in. There was no P trap (just a 90) installed in the concrete for the 2" shower drain. All of the drains run to a crock of a (Zoeller anti gravity) upflush, which is 44" center to center from the 2" shower drain. The crock is vented to an existing vent to the outside through the roof. Given the proximity to the crock, is it mandatory to still install a P trap for the shower?
    Thank you in advance!

All fixtures must be trapped to stop odor. I am assuming the 'crock' is a sump basin.

I'm guessing...
