    Cd burner won't burn playable discs
    My dvd/cd burner burns dvds but when I burn a cd it will not play in anything I put it in

    I am sorry to say that part of your drive may have died. If not, it may be severely dirty. Drives die like that a lot. You should either take it in to get checked or get more opinions. But god forbid it did die, you just buy a new drive and change it or just send it in to a Best Buy or something similar.

    You have to format it correctly, or it will only play on a computer.

    Try using cd+r discs if you haven't already tried
