Congratulations Myth for not only getting married but being able to bake/decorate cakes... Serious being able to do anything like that in a kitchen is amazing, and you get a lot of points in my book for being able to do something like that. My entire family can cook well, but apparently my cooking ability got lost in my genetic code... MY UNCLE IS EVEN A CHEF! Not me though, I can make a sandwich and that is it... For me cooking is like drawing I can see what I want to happen, but can't follow through. I have even taken a class(required by school by hey it counts), and I ended up being better at sewing(... barely). Do not let me near your guys' kitchen I am a virus... I remember one time while I was at my dad's house we wanted to do something nice for my step mom, and we tried to wash the dishes... It was the saddest sight in the world, two guys just staring for minutes at a dishwasher. We eventually started it but with the wrong soap and it overflowed. The saddest part is that my further attempts to wash the dishes has not been any better, mainly I cannot figure out what soap is right. I have concluded that I will live off plastic and paper silverware for the rest of my life.

Anyway I hope you have a beautiful wedding and a great cake...

    Sincerely

    Whizz

Here a cookie bar recipe... flour well shifted about two cups... brown sugar dark or light.. and butter.. two sticks... mix and then crumble up into a cookie sheet.. melt some Carmel or make some by using brown sugar, milk and butter and vanilla or butter extract.. toast some pecans and buy a package of 75 - 85 percent chocolate... pour the Carmel mix on the crumble cookies mix... and then place pecan and chocolate pieces on the top and then swirl... bake at 350-375 degrees in a conventional oven... cook for 15 minutes or until done... you will know... brew a pot of Kona for morning coffee drinking and lets sit here and talk about what the day will bring... and do not forget the meds... need the meds... oh by the way good morning...

Hey Y'all! Been gone a while-a lot has happened, killer wasps, Myth got married, the singing ended, Wizz cannot cook, and Curlybens wife wears the pants! :p

I have been taking care of a 9 year old that has had a fever since LAST Thursday,, ugh. Not just a slight temp... 102.7 - 103.7 miserable!!

Fever along with vomiting & cough.

Took to 2 separate doctors and ended up at emergency room, they took blood and said it is all viral--has to run its own course... ugh.

Was actually glad to come back to work to rest *sigh*

Everyone be prepared... ER doctor said this 7 day fever is goin' 'round. I feel for anyone who gets this. It SUCKS!

Yeah colds really start to come around this time of year, that is why I use a lot of antibacterial soap, and always wash my hands before eating or touching my eyes, anything that can get germs into my body basically. I am kind of a germ freak so I stay away from the people with colds, door handles, community things...

I was reading somewhere, that this doctor thinks that most germs get in through your ear. He said you should put h. peroxide on a Q-TIP and swab the inside of your ears. I don't know, anybody heard of that?

Magprob, that reminds me of a quote:

"Shut up brain before I stab you with a Q-tip!"

But no, never heard of that one.

I haven't heard of that one either, it seems doubtful just because the nose and the mouth share an opening to sensitive skin, easy openings I might add, and with the ear the way it is built, it's not as easy to access that sensitive skin, not to mention the wax in your ear's purpose is to keep out germs. Possible but not very probable in my mind.

Never heard of the ear thing either.

ARGH!! "I see sick people!!!" They're everywhere around me at work. What do I do, I need a surgery mask, I wash my hands all the time, and I hand santizer right in front of me.

I guess I freak out because I am on Enbrel & Methotrexate (for rhematoid arthritis) which both lower your immune system sooooo much and I cannot fight off infections... OMG!!

Anyway, I just get really nervous being around sick people.

WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!! Much better!! *says the germ covered employee as she wipes her brow with the back of her hand*

After spraying the infested work environment, the sexy vixon starts her next course of action. *She takes a cotton swab dipped in peroxide and starts sticking it in germ-infested employees ear*

*The germ infested empoyee is holding on to her chair as the sexy vixon grabs her by her hair tilts her head side ways and start degerminating her ears*

*The sexy vixon finishes her duties at this location, grabs her industrial sized lysol, stands with her hands on her hips, legs shoulder width apart, and says* "My work here is done, go flourish in your germ-free environment & clean ears. I shall return on another day when you becon me"

*The sexy vixon flies out the door in a whirl of spraying lysol*
