Looks like you have clubs there too. Even for hand gun target shooting. So at least you have some options. ;)

Just never got round to it, and didn't have the money, but that shouldn't be a problem for much longer, so maybe I could lookinto any places that do clay pigeion shooting near me.
Cheers for the link

Yeah, my L96 is part plastic (the casing and butt) but it still weighs a fair bit :D
My M4 on the otherhand is full metal (apart from the sliding stock), and I'm told weighs close to the proper thing. This was my starter rifle after I got into airsofting and got my licence as it seemed like a good allround rifle, good range and power and could also lend its hand for CQB games

There are also whats known as gun "trust" and Im thinking thats what they are covered under now with a class 3 dealer.
Im not sure what classifies someone as a gun nut. But I believe that everyone should be able to own one should they want to so long as they can pass thier local laws for no criminal record or violent behavior. Its funny how the law treats them between so many states. Like some restrictions for Mag capacity etc. Gimme a break.
Happy shooting.
I'll never have the two grand for the federal permit but my friend is a long time into his dealership and has more money than brains. He has (4)Thompson .45's (2) M-16 ,(3) Uzi's ,(2) AR-15's, several WWII Greman machine guns, an M 60 , and his pride and joy is a Quad .50 mounted on his jeep.
And that is just a short list.
But he is a well respected businessman so he is a " serious collector". If it were known I had an arsenal like that , permit or not , I'm sure a state and federal task force would be blasting tear gas through my windows post haste.
It is amazing how varied gun laws are from state to state when the Constitution is suppose to be the basis of gun ownership. Here you have to register all hand guns. Rifles don't need to be registered.
You can carry handguns as long as they are not concealed and do not have a bullet in the chamber or revolvers don't have a bullet under the hammer or in the next chamber up to fire. And if it is in a vehicle it cannot be within reach of the driver. Basic good sense and safety.
Rifles are limited to magazine capacity of no more than 30. But it is now illegal to sell or buy 30 round clips. Legal to carry as long as magazine is not locked and no bullet in the chamber.
The Constitution says we have the right to own and bear arms. No restrictions. So how do all these laws come into being without a constitutional amendment?
I would like to hear some of the local restrictions from other states and countries for comparison to our local laws. It would be helpful when traveling to know these things because I don't leave home without one or two guns. Most of the western US is similar to Utah , excluding California but I exclude California from my travels anyway.
When I hear the " Brady Bunch " screaming about Columbine and Virginia Tech , I ask "What might have happened if several people there were in possession of guns and knew how to use them?" A radical idea maybe. But in most cases by the time the police arrive the damage is done.

Go through the back issues of "American Rifleman" magazine. They publish statistics of crimes thwarted by gun owners. It works out to about four and a half times as many thwarted crimes as successful crimes involving guns.
Just remember, he has to bleed inside your house for it to be legal.

Unless a clear and present danger to you or others is shown. Then you have the right to defend yourself with "like force". Never take a knife to a gun fight. And a weapon is a knife, a club, a broken bottle, or Desert Eagle .50.

They do an excellent job of giving you some extreme stopping power if God forbid it becomes necessary.

Ummm, yeah, I know. However, I like my .50 cal sniper rifle just as well, but it's a bit too heavy to carry.

Any similarities to any anti-over-government, bordering on anarchist , that believes in the real freedom the founding fathers intended us to have, but is constantly being infringed upon by over zealous politicians that think they know what is best for us and what they ultimately want is control over our daily lives,. persons, living or dead,. is purely coincidental.

Excellent weapon. Just because a threat is a mile away , it can still be a threat. That .50 is ideal to take care of "approaching danger"

Okay, a bit of background since you don't know me, but the others do.
My family owned a gun shop that included an indoor range, until the present President. We ended up losing it.
So, I'm not quite the terrorist that it seems like. Hubby is a master gunsmith.

I could resemble a radical person like that ,if I were not just a chemically damaged leftover from the sixties , with most of my righteous rage calmed and quiet and diverted to more productive avenues .
