Sneezy, how are you sweet boy. Aunty missed you lots. Now we just have to get our HChicky back and the whole gang will be together again, with a few newbies. :)

Oh, oh, Starby just said that we will soon hit 1500 posts in the daycare. Not to worry, I have a plan. :)

    Ooh. Plan alty? Sounds mischievous.

Bigbird. Thank you for asking. My sports bar... yes, it's from left field. The deal is... I just graduated and I'm taking a year before going to medical school. My entire life, ever since I was about... 11... I wanted to be a surgeon. My passion's always been in medicine. However, as I have noticed, I'm better at business. My friends, parents, professors, etc. have all told me to go into I-banking or go work in wall street. The thing is, I just don't find passion in it. However, since I'm decent at it, I do small things like invest in stocks and mutual funds. I figured, since I have a year free to do whatever I want, why not run a business for a little bit before committing my entire life to medicine?

... so I bought a sports bar. I will be working in it... as I'm too cheap and far too untrusting to let anyone handle it, along with 3 cooks, 2 bartenders, and 3 more employees.

Now I'm @ barnes/nobles studying for mcats... sneakily distracting myself.

I promised my little brother that around 11pm, I'd take him to the mall parking lot to teach him how to drive. He's only 14, but he's getting his driver's permit in August... and I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to just let him at least get the hang of getting into the driver's seat. Can't wait.

I hope you make a good profit with your sports bar Sneezy! :) And, what a good big bro you are too! The mall prkg lot is an excellent idea. That is where I took my niece, when I was teaching her to drive too. Make sure he knows the difference between the gas and the brake pedal... we were almost headed toward isle 6 in Walmart! LOL!

That sounds pretty interesting Sneezy. I've always wanted to try something like that but I have no formal business training. I suppose it would be worth a short as I'm good with time/work management, but I business... I don't know.

I've always looked for ways to make more money and I'm worried with graduation coming up next year that I will just be working a 9-5 for the next 40 years. I want to be the one that took a risk. If I make it, then great, I can work for myself and live comfortably for the rest of my life. If I don't, hell at least I tried :)

Almost 3 AM here now, just got in. I need to go to bed :)

Good night, talk to you all tomorrow.

Good luck bigbird... seeing as it's a Sunday, however, I feel like today'll be relatively slow.

@ barnes & nobles... going for a 9-hour mcat overhaul... plus the free wifi isn't bad. :)

Yeah, I'm sure it will be slow.

I've been trying to come up with places that I can go by myself just to be out in public. Barnes & Noble doesn't seem like a bad idea.

You looking for places to meet new people?

    - coffee shop with a book
    - wine tasting venues
    - volunteering spots

    My personal favorite...

Offer one of your friends to walk his/her dog for them. Take dog to park. You get paid AND chances are, you'll meet tons of people.

Sadly, I have no life. I am still here @ barnes&nobles. Using up their free wifi... going through 4 - 5 cups of coffee.
