Hi everyone! Been shopping lately.....today we are doing the labor of scraping off wallpaper, sanding and putting on the primer. We have the roofer set for next week to start...still haven't picked my color, lol, but I am thinking slate colored???...who know's what we will end up with, all I DO know is that it will be NEW, lol.

So.....what's been up with everyone?? Anything going on that I may have missed?

Sounds like you are having a ball hon, good for you. I like slate as a color personally.

For the update I promised. The work situation. Apparently they still do not know the exact numbers or how they are going to go about with the changes and layoffs but apparently according to what they are telling us is that the layoffs will happen in September. They also said that they will be bringing in the people that will be effected next week, but for others with higher seniority they will have the option of taking a temperory layoff instead and that could saye somebody else. There is supposed come back date and you keep all the benefits and seniority etc... But who really knows. I have learned not to trust management, they are sneaky and not always straight forward. It seems they knew this was coming but did not share anything until the last minute, but guess that's how companies operate. They are telling us they are having meetings and still do not know all the details yet, but when they do they will let us know.

Change is hard, but sometimes it's the push in the butt we need in order to find something better. You'll be fine, I know it. :)
