I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, and I have even done it myself a couple times unintentionally... but this one is real, and it's important. So please send this warning to everyone on your e- mail list.
If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for ticks due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT! THIS IS A SCAM! They only want to see you naked. I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid. |

Okay guys, I am having a really off day, giving the wrong advice to people even though I know the right advice, sad. Calling people by the wrong name, even though their name is right in front of my beady little eyes. What the heck, was there not enough caffeine in my coffee this morning, or did hubby slip in something extra? Yikes, got to go rest the brain, I hope this isn't permanent. Later all, what does alzheimers feel like? Where am I, huh, who, why. Hmm, post answer? Okay. |

Altenweg is my last name, it's very, very German, it literally means "old way, or old path", I wasn't very original when I first joined, couldn't come up with something better. ;) |

That's a rad last name.. Since you guys and other interneters don't know my first name, I suppose divulging my last name won't kill either. Mine's Boomhower, originally spelt Boomhauer, also German. If you've ever seen "King of the Hill" then you know the stupid questions and jokes people come up with.

Everyone else that comes here is going to say, Yawn, great, Alty is talking about her bunnies again, do we really have to hear that story one more time? I LOVE BUNNIES. I had an all white bunny that looked similar to yours, he had blue eyes. I named him Mr. Crowley, after an OZZY song. Well, little did I know that the song was about the head of the satanic church. I couldn't very well change the bunny's name a year later... so yeah.

Ooops, we posted at the same time.
I love that name, absolutely beautiful and very original. I'm Andrea, but people here just call me Alty. Wow, now my first name and last name are on the internet, never thought that would happen. ;) Okay, bunny stories. I have three wonderful bunnies, Cotton, my avatar (pet store purchase, before we knew better), Thumper, (a poor little tyke, he's had a hard life, we rescued him from the SPCA), and last but definitely not least, Oreo, (she was given to us by my neighbors friend, they didn't want her anymore). I also have two dogs, a 13 year old lab (our friends dog had puppies, he was one of them) and a 7 years old border collie cross (another tough life SPCA rescue). One cockatiel, (original owner were allergic) and a 27 cent goldfish that will outlive us all. Add to that two kids, one hubby and me, and it's a very full house. How about you, any pets? Should I guess, perhaps a chihuahua? :) |
