    No doubt about that.
My skin did exfoliate and I am now past the tight
And dry stage and my complexion has evened out.
This soap had the effect of a light skin peel for me.

I've heard of these papaya soaps for so long on the
Skin lightening boards but never believed in them
For helping the skin, but this soap is a great for
    Exfoliation.

Before that i used hydroquinone for four months maybe thats why when i stopped it and started DS its working slowly and i dont notice any change except on acne scars.
And also like you Nikkie its making me patchy, not too much but the part around my mouth and the chin are more darker than my cheeks.Strange.
And some days my skin looks more darker than other days!Maybe its just in my mind because i think too much about that.I dont wanna be like i was after the summer last year.
When i get tan it doesnt look healthy and glowing like others but dirty like brown color mix with grey!lol
Also DS dries the skin so i think its necessary to apply a good moisturizer after it.
I ordered Neutrogena sunblock but still waiting so i bought La roche posay Anthelios fluid 50 spf.I put it today on my face but i hate it;whenever i put sunscreen its eems my skin looks grey!
Nikkie can you tell me which skin color is your and how long has it been you are using DS?
Also is your sunscreen greasy?do you re apply it in the day?
Do you think i use too much cream?cause i use one jar for one week just for the face and neck.
Anyway its great this product is working you.
    Keep us informed about it
    And who else noticed lightening?
    Thanks
Hi Shanez, I have been using DS for 3months and it has faded acne scares, smoothed my skin and given it a glow but it has not really lightened it. So I am happy with the product in that respect but I need to lighten 3 shades on my face to match my body so I ordered this product below because it has 5 active lightening ingredients. I haven't used it yet so hopefully it will work.

If im right Southgain on ebay sell the DS products which doesnt contain HQ.
I hope cause i bought them from him.
Looking back on this post and the links I have just noticed
That the person posting the pics of the DS products both
Generic and labeled is an ebay store seller.

All I can say is at least she told the truth when she listed her
    Products as containing hydroquinone.

I am getting more convinced that the cream I purchased
From filipinagoddess is the same as the yellow generic cream
Which contains HQ. Like I said before I don't mind using HQ
But I would like to know if a cream contains it or not.

You'll notice they both claim the samething about their products:
    (filipinagoddess)
A Filipino - Swiss company, SGC adheres to the BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) standards of professional services, strictly implementing quality, hygienic standards and procedures.
Manufactured by SGC, supplier to 85% of Philippine dermatologists.
    Manufacturedin the Philippines
Results As OBAGI $86@Celebrity Dr VICKI BELO

    (SkinWhitening Essentials seller)
The manufacturer of this skin care line distributes to some of the Philippines Top Dermatological Clinic. The facility is BFAD approved and guarantees effective results for correcting skin pigmentation, blemishes, dark/age spots, freckles, acne scars, melasma or simply achieve an over-all brighter appearance.

Our new skin care line combines Dermatologist prescribed and approved ingredients. In fact, our product contains the same active ingredient in the popular skin correcting line, OBAGI SYSTEM, except for the fraction of the cost.

I will continue to use the products as they are working for me.

Yes, they were manufactured by Stalder Laboratories but different formulation according to different dermatologist... They are all the same as the manufacturer but not the formula... Dr. Belo, Dr. Calayan, Dina dela Paz-Stalder, and so many others... They don't share the same recipe... If you will go to Belo Medical Clinic they will give different product (expensive) from what they are selling on public right now- they are Class C ( u can get it in any supermarket or grocery-cheaper price but lesser ingredients but also effective). All of those dermatologist are member of SGC.

    You mean my DS cream?
I don't know what the percentage is.
Maybe I should ask the seller how much is in there.

I use my suncreen once a day, whenever I go
Outside, which is not much. Been nothing but rain
Here so far. But when summer comes twice a day
    I will apply sunscreen.

    Hi
    Thanks Nikkie for your reply
Does anybode know the percentage of kojic acide in DS cream?
I don't know but it seems to me that the soap is stronger than the cream??
Im talking about the kokic and papaya soap.So I was thinking if there would be a cream with papaya mauybe it would be more effective
It has been three weeks now I'm using Ds but my chin is one shade darker from the others parts of my face.I try to even it with make up.

I will wait one and half month and if I don't see lightening I would like to try the product Sassy gave the link or Oriki(but its expensive).
Sassy can you give your opinion after using the Peter Thomas Roth Potent Botanical Skin Brightening Gel Complex? Thanks

I also really want to use HQ but I have to give it a break.

I started using the black soap on my thighs.. and it started to peel real bad... after the peeling subsided... the skin underneath turned out DARKER than my original skin! Help! What should I do? Should I use the cream on it? Or stop using it at all? Needless to say, I stopped using the soap.

This always seems to happen when the skin is irritated. I'm having the same issue right now from using the lowest dose of hydroquoine. My face first had tons of red bumps all over and then some hard skin went over it and now after 4 days.. my face is now just starting to peel however I look like I'm wearing a mask on one side of my face! I noticed this morning too that the new area is extremely so much darker than the other half of my face and because of it.. I can't leave the house!:(

I do not know what to do!

Don't use hydroquoine. It is dangerous. It will evetually make you darker and ruin your skin.

So has anyone used Surely White long enough to give us a review yet?

And do you HAVE to moisturize the skin when you're lightening even if the skin's not peeling and it's not dry?

I heard from different sites that the moisturizers recommended to skin lightening but I don't know.

Can you use the soap to wash your hands regularly like regular soap or do you just use it twice a day in morning and at night?

    Any input would be nice.

I can't see why not. Your hands may get a little dry so best to use a moisturiser also. :)
