The tinsel.. gosh that sure is a joy to keep off the floor.. when I was growing up, my mother made us put it on ONE piece at a time... that was time consuming but now I am almost the same way. That's a little scary.
IT makes me a little nervous when it doesn't snow.. I worry that the temp is too warm everywhere... hopefully you get a a white Christmas. I miss those days!!
It worries me too because we use to get snow 2 or 3 times a year and it would last for a few days - that was all my life.
In the last 4 years we had the half inch, but it was mixed with rain.
Right now I have my windows open when I should be sitting in front of a cozy fireplace... it's 72 degrees and it should be 50 F or so...

To sit in front of a fireplace is one of my most FAVORITE Things to do.. although not many homes even have them here...
Yes, I grew up in Nebraska and we would literally get 6 feet of snow and when we would walk through the snowbanks it would be almost impossible to walk through...
I don't think it is a good thing that we only get a half inch here or there.. and it isn't really snow if its mixed with rain.. Is it?

    SCRAMBLED WITH CHEESE PLEASE!!

I am not going to start any political debates in P&B because that would just rub people the wrong way... but I think it has to be because the earth's surface is getting warmer.
With all the concrete on the ground.. it has no way to breathe.. we are a concrete jungle and that doesn't help the snow situation either.. but I am just saying...

I miss that snow tooo. That sucks.
P.S. are the eggs ready yet? I am starving!

I think the tree is the most time consuming so... good job Tusc on getting that part out of the way...
Getting the stuff all out of the attic is aggravating in and of itself!

I never thought about it that way shattered, that's an interesting outlook on the problem that I've never heard before. You hear a lot about fossil fuels and the destruction of the rain forest, etc, but your theory adds an interesting touch... I like it.

Well I guess it is easier to miss when you don't get any..
I am no theorist about anything AKAE.. but I know by the looks of things.. with what you mentioned plus my observation.. it doesn't seem promising now does it?
Hopefully by the time it snows tonight, you will all nice and snuggly in your pj's and slippers and you can enjoy it from the window!!

Will you be doing any holiday things with your students?

Since we are a private school we do celebrate the holidays. Each day of the week prior to vacation is a different day (Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza) The last day is ice skating and we have Friday off.

So I guess the short answer is yes.

    How are you doing?
