Do you empty real bed pans in class? Do you discompact real bowls in class? Do you lance a big, pus filled, smelly, infected carbunkle gone bad in class?
I didn't think so. Just follow the sylabus and quit raising hell!  :p

Funny thing is YES, we have done all that in the hospital. I'd rather do that than write careplans.

And quit giving me a hard time or I'll get out the 18 gauge needle, and you DON'T want that.

What a day! Connor had his MRI, I don't know the results, but I really need another day just to recover. Watching them sedate him was horrible... and then afterwards he was so agitated, it was scary to see my sweet little boy so cranky... strangly after some caffeine (dr.s orders), he fell asleep but when he woke up again, he was so slurred and dizzy I basically had to hold him the rest of the day to keep him from falling off something... luckily the happy juice they gave him before had has an amnesia effect, he doesn't remember anything after that nose spray... I never thought giving him an IV would make me cry, but it did... well, back to work then to bed. Night.

Oh, Al, oh sweet, I feel for you. I couldn't watch when they gave Jett his a couple years back, I just couldn't... Dustin had to do it. I cried outside the hall and oh man I felt like such a whimp. If I had to I guess I would have held it together... it would have been hard though. I am proud of you for going through that... I really am... Get enough rest to see you through tomorrow, you need it! Hugs and here, here is an extra one... a nice soft big squeeze...

Yeah, it was hard... I couldn't watch the MRI because of the pregnancy so I just had to wait until they carried him back in. I hope that's the end of all this for a while. He's been in and out of the hospital more than I have in my whole life. Happy halloween all!
