    So.

    I was just laid off.

    I'm still in shock.

And, of course, I have PMS and Troy's gone all week to Tampa for business.

    I think I'm having a bad day.

Gosh Synn, that is terrible. What an awful thing to happen. Even more awful that he isn't there to help you through this situation...

PMS and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day...

Xoxoxo I wish I could say something to make it better. Does it help that we think you are terrific and intelligent and awesome and that job isn't worth your time and now you can go on to something more fulfilling??
Well, probably not but you are all of those things and more... oh yeah and damn sexy too!
Just trying to put a smile on your face... sorry this happened.

I'm not even in that mode yet.

I was looking for another job anyway, but wasn't expecting THIS.

They're being very helpful, and gave me leads to other jobs, and are writing me letters of recommendation and everything. It was a business decision, I'm not the only one being laid off.

    Just... a shock.

This may be a good time to put your head in your pillow and scream... or grab a rag and bite it as hard as you can!

OMG, Shattered... you know about Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day?

That's one of my FAVORITE books!

I think I'm going to find a bubble bath and make soup. I was going to take myself out for a new bra this week, but I think I'll hold off on that until I know about a job!

    Thanks, Mag.

I have an interview tomorrow, so hopefully that goes well. If not, I have a few other places to contact as well.
