Positive honey. I live 2 miles up a mountain in the middle of the woods. I see wild turkeys, black bear, moose, fox, deer, and coyotes. Very cool.

Not easy to accomplish. I have tried. They are quite skittish and I usually see them when they are on the move. By the time I grab my camera, they are gone.

What is really cool is during the fall time, you can hear their mating calls all around. The fall is rutting season and you definitely want to stay away from them because they become aggressive then.

Heck, I live in the middle of a huge city (well, relatively, anyway), and *I* have seen mooses on vacation!

I could probably find a picture or three I've taken!

It is like that in the more populated areas. I still see a lot of hedgehogs, mice, chipmunks, and squirrels. Here the foxes are not seen too frequently so it is cool to see them every once in a while.

Well, then post them syn honey! :) I never tire of seeing Moose pics.
Where I live, I think the fact that we have "moose season" makes them skittish to be around people. Personally, I would feel the same way if someone tried shooting at me.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure they're protected in MN.

When we go up north by Duluth, we tend to see at least one moose every time.

I'll have to see if I have any digital pics of them when I get home... I'm thinking that I used the GOOD camera, and would have to find a scanner for those pics, though.

Wow, what an amazing, wonderful, fantastic, insightful, educational day I spent today!!

Ruby and Magpie, sorry I didn't get to visit you today. Ruby, I was unable to visit the woman's unit, and Magpie, since you were on Level 5, you were having much fun in the gym playing basketball in the morning and taking taking a nice relaxing swim in the afternoon.

I worked in the forensic unit today. It is the unit for the criminally insane. They have all gotten out of prison by Not Guilt By Reason of Insanity.

It was by far the most amazing day of my life. If I never get into mental health, I will never forget this day for the rest of my life!!

I could tell you a story about mental institutions that would make your skin crawl. At least give you goose bumps. 30 years ago it happened to me. No! I wasn't locked up in one silly, I worked in one for about two weeks... that was all I could handle! What happened I will not forget in a million years though.

They are telling me to stack chairs up to the ceiling, get naked, smear smuckers orange marmalade all over myself, climb to the top, unplug the TV, turn on the radio, put three snack pak pudding treats on my head, take the fly swatter, climb to the top of the chairs and spank my bare bottom while singing the theme song to Shaft. You know, just the same ole same ole. Why do you ask?

Remind me to tell you some day. Right now though, I need to get this marmalade off. I think I'll make, like, one hundred pieces of toast, lay them on the bed and just roll all over them. J_9 can serve them to the nuts in the morning. They like toast... I like toast... toast is goooood!
