Eeek, it's 12:30am, time for Alty to get her beauty sleep, especially since I have to get up every 3 hours to feed Squeakers.

Goodnight my dear friends, love you all tons. Sleep well, be good, and don't worry, I'll be fine, I hope. ;)

Stringer, you are a lucky man, but you already know that, right dear?

    Sneezy, your poor ears, you're a sweetheart, don't worry, I won't tell anyone. ;)

M, you always make me laugh dear, for that I am always grateful. :)

Rebbie, your cake making skills are a marvel, I wish I had your talent.

For the rest, take care, sleep tight, talk to you soon.

    Goodnight. :)

    Just a quick hello everyone.

Well, Squeakers passed away some time last night, I woke up early for a feeding and he was gone. I really though he would make it, he had so much spunk, but maybe it's better he didn't, I don't think he ever would have been able to fly, and his leg was pretty messed up too. He's in a better place, but the kids are taking it really hard, especially Jared. Why do I let myself get into these situations?

Anyway, that's the update, and I told myself I wouldn't let it get to me if he died, now that he did, well, a few tears have been shed, can't help it. Darnit, not good. :(

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Sneezy, sing Happy Birthday to your brother for me. Fifteen, such a fun age. :)

Thanks Stringer. It's sad that the death of something that wasn't even in our lives an entire day would have such an affect, but it does. I like to believe that death doesn't faze me much, because I've been through so much of it in a very short time, but it does affect me, even when it's just a crippled little bird.

I hope you have a wonderful trip with Marta when you go. It's always nice to get away for some R&R. :)

Hey Starby, I missed you. Sob, tear, where have you been?

Give your computer a kick for me, K? ;)

For all of you that might be interested, we are having a burial service for Squeakers tomorrow afternoon, I'm even making a cross.

Now I feel bad, should I tell the kids I lied when I said I buried their hamsters? It was winter people, there's no digging graves in winter, trust me, Starby can verify if need be. So, I gave the hamsters a hefty burial, as in hefty garbage bags. Great, now I feel guilt. :(
