Sorry I've been gone for a little bit, guys... been busy busy busy.

I started my new job on Thursday, had college stuff on Friday, work on Saturday and I got my new car, and today I had church, and I was supposed to find out how to use my new manual tranny, but I noticed the car was leaking, and it hadn't been before...

... I had to unbolt the gasket/thermo housing... the gasket was cracked. The thermostat was okay, though. So tomorrow I get the new part and put that sucker in. Luckily, the car doesn't sound like it has motor problems, and it's been running great otherwise. Considering it's an 8 year old car, if a broken gasket seal is the only problem I have with it, I'll be thankful. I got the radiator flushed out and the oil changed to start on the right foot.

I went out on a limb and bought a 2001 Ford Focus Hatchback Coupe. She's yellow. :)

I don't normally like Fords, well in compacts/sedans, anyway. I've found their brakes mushy and their reliability sucky at best (FORD TAURUS *HORROR MUSIC*), among other problems *coughtransmission/alternatorscough*, but I was VERY surprised and happy to hear and feel her running smoothly. Hopefully this good behavior continues... I *might* invest in another Ford.

Her interior was DIRTY. Holy Crudmonkey, she needed some lovin'. So I've spent most of the day cleaning her up, and boy, she looks hot now. Vaccuming, Amor All, stain removers, and glass cleaners really do make a difference. Soap, wax, & tire shine, too.

Anyway, I named her: Echo Odalis. :)

People that don't take care of their cars make me want to punch a baby.

Punch a baby? Who's baby? Your baby? Their baby? A random Baby? Lol!

Man, since my car is lowered, when I go over some speedbumps and the bottom of the car scratches a little, I actually feel sick and hurt when I hear the sound, because the car is my baby... Lol!

Lucky for me, my fiancé understands that now. She didn't get it before... pfft... some women... lol ;)

*A* baby. Any baby. Just get me a baby so I can punch it. (I am not a candidate).

A sound that makes me cringe is when people push the motor too fast too soon, and it makes this sound like it's crying. That, or when people try to force a manual car into a gear. *shudders*

My dad is a huge car guy, and since I was the first kid, and was the only one for 8 years, my dad treated me like his sidekick. So I got to learn a lot about cars, and he's taught me a lot along the way!

    Awesomeness... cars rock...

See, my fiancé doesn't know much about cars, but her mum is crazy about cars and drives a ford XR6 turbo... so that's crazy... but yeah, my fiancé tells me that if she had listened to her mother talk about cars when she was growing up, she would have been my perfect little car chick... Lol!

Her mum used to have a corvette... and a camaro... she even had an old charger... *drool*

    It's all good.

As soon as I got my old one, I found someone else who had one similar. I wanted it original. If I don't get any good suggestions, I'll just take it off all together.

I'm looking foreword to your suggestions Stringer! :) Night.

You should just get spray cans and like huge markers or something and make it into a hippy hatch.

Okay Okay enough attacking my car.

I feel bad enough that she's a Ford, poor thing.
But it's not a disgusting yellow, at least.
