    Haha,

I'm pretty good with music, though I wish I could sing. I might trade any other skill for singing, but as long as I'm by myself, I'll go nuts :)
I've never tried writing lyrics, not sure how hard that would be.

In your position, it could be very interesting on what you COULD come up with sweet Biggie!
I love music, my fave kind is the depressing or sad songs! I love them... I like Boy singers better than girls and I love all sorts of music, just depends on the mood!

I agree with the depressing music, but I'd have to add angry to that list. Those lyrics are much more motivating to me. Happy music isn't really my cup of tea haha

Good god the NC calendar is a busy place today. I have my hands full dishing out advice which is really helping me to feel better. Funny how that works :)

Damn right! You give good advice and it helps to look at the whole situation from the outside in as if you can take your own advice, and more ideas just keep slipping out of your mind and it does help! Great job Biggie. I love angry music too, many people wouldn't believe a 33 year old mother of 4 used to be a rocker and a hard core music listener, not so much now but I used to love it.

Well that's good. I noticed in my relationship as time went I was becoming a different person in front of my friends and my ex. Tough situation to be in. It's a real test if your compatible, if you can be who you want, no matter where you are :)

Funny how we analize ourselves when we go through something... how we acted, how we felt, was it real, was it right... how do I feel now? I know, crazy... my mind works like that!

I think it's a good thing. I'm much more aware of things I do that I thought were just instinctive before. Definitely a learning experience. I always try to understand why I do what I do, and what I can do better now. I guess that's why people will say it's the best thing that ever happened to them.

    Hey Starty,

Thanks for talking with me throughout the day, really made it a bit easier. The thoughts are still there, but I'm keeping them at bay. I'm headed out of here in about 10 minutes, not sure if I'm napping when I get home or trying to get a game of tennis or something going on. Maybe I'll try to do both.

I'll be talking to you later tonight I'm sure...

    Adios!

    Hey Starty!

I took a nap, woke up a little bummed about stuff, not to mention it started pouring and storming, so tennis is out of the question. Oh well, I'll just have to hang around the house I guess.

The drive home was good for me, I'm pretty sure the music REALLY helps me get into a better mood, I might just go for a drive before bed to cheer up. I had a LOT of really good thoughts then, I'm trying to bring them back.

I was thinking stuff such as:
-It doesn't matter what she is doing, if she is happy, I am happy for her.
-Nothing she does now changes what we shared, and I'm sure she still cares about me/ cares about what we had. Nothing will ever change that.
-We weren't compatible, there was no hiding that, so eventually, we can be friends, not for a while though.

I'm doing a bit better, that music helps :)

Just ate dinner too... Pork chops, :( not my favorite, but the noodles were good.

WOW, you are a smart, smart man. (not that I had my doubts) but you are definitely thinking on the right track. Now lets get you busy... what do guys like to do after eating a not so good supper and are stuck in the house..? ;)
Uhhh, a shower? You could turn on your cool music and dance around the house... (if you do do this, please don't tell anyone else) LMAO
Uhhh a drive, that sounds good! You can't take another nap, you won't fall asleep tonight. Maybe go to the store and get something for a better, more satisfying supper tomorrow? A good salad with all the good stuff, maybe add baked or grilled chicken? You are doing good!

    :)

Thanks, I certainly am trying. I am handling it a bit better then I thought I would, so I have made progress since it first happened. One of the thoughts that makes me feel a lot better is thinking about when I find a girl I can flirt with and hang out with a bit. Its tough when I'm working 40 hours a week and my two best single friends are (1) is working out of state, and the other works at night. I need to find some new buddies to go out with haha.

I would dance around the house, but my family probably wouldn't like that much. My house is small for the numebr of people we have, I don't have my own room. It's tough to get any privacy, which is why I like going for a drive. After I graduate next summer I plan on getting myself a condo, that will be awesome.
