Blimey is it pocket money or does she know you smoke?
Im not sure you would get help from the doctors here as you are under age I don't know if they can perscribe anything to help but it might be worth asking.

She knows I smoke , but she gives me £10 on a Friday and £3 on Monday Tuesday n Saturday and it all goes on cigs instead of other things , like I need new things like clothes and straightners as they broke :'( and I wanted to start saving for my insurance and a car for when I am 17-18 and pass my test(fingers crossed) , so if I did stop smoking I would be puttin £20 a week away for better things than something that is going to kill me if I don't stop

The fact you admit what you are doing is wrong is the most couragious start you have given yourself, I'm guessing your friends also smoke? Your facing probably the hardest thing so far in your life you want to do.
If you want it enough you will quit you are so young and you have so much in front of you do it now before its too late.
No one will make you do it you have to do it for yourself, you have to be strong when your out with your mates and there all smoking and you aren't don't get pressured into a drag or a single cigi all the girls here that have quit will tell you its hard dam hard but you can do it.
We will be here come chat to us rather than lighting up hugs poppet good luck.

Yes the first step is admitting it is bad! I actually tested myself. I have a lot of friends that smoke, and I made it a point to be near them. I wasnted to be sure that I would be able to stand being around that without lighting up myself. It was hard at first, but it got easier. Now I hardly have the urge after I eat. Like I said in your other post, go buy some blow pops or carmel apple suckers and keep them in your purse or pocket. Smoking is only about 10% actual addiciton, the rest is just oral fxation and habit. You have the habit to smoke after meals, before bed, after sex, in the car, etc. Kick those habits buy using a sucker or straw or a pitece of gum instead. The actual addiction of the nicotene is cured in less than a week, if you can be strong and stop. Good luck, we are here.

This may be helpful as well, I thought it was very interesting when I saw these facts in my doctors office...
20 minutes after quitting: Your heart rate and blood pressure drops.
12 hours after quitting: The carbon monoxide level in your blood drops to normal.
2 weeks to 3 months after quitting: Your circulation improves and your lung function increases.
1 to 9 months after quitting: Coughing and shortness of breath decrease; cilia (tiny hair-like structures that move mucus out of the lungs) regain normal function in the lungs, increasing the ability to handle mucus, clean the lungs, and reduce the risk of infection.
1 year after quitting: The excess risk of coronary heart disease is half that of a smoker's.
5 years after quitting: Your stroke risk is reduced to that of a nonsmoker 5 to 15 years after quitting.
10 years after quitting: The lung cancer death rate is about half that of a continuing smoker's. The risk of cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus, bladder, cervix, and pancreas decrease.
15 years after quitting: The risk of coronary heart disease is that of a nonsmoker's.

Big day can't be here long, I hope everyone is good. To the NEWBIE, throw the smokes out, just do it. I did and I take really really deep breaths, they make me feel like I am taking a drag off a smoke. I wish you the best, I am also now addicted to gum, I think I always was but now coffee and gum make my world go round. Love to all. Bye Hey I cannot leave without telling the pregnant ladies that they are wonderful and I hope they are feeling GREAT today!

Are you someone we should be able to figure out? Do newer people like me and Startover know you, or was it from before our time here in the Quitters Corner?
