Apparently, a REALLY good way to cool off a room on a hot night is to hang laundry up to dry. If you can ignore the dripping sounds, then it makes the room a good 5-10 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. That is dang good incentive for me to do laundry more often as the days get hotter.

It has the added benefit of entrancing kittens. They must've spent a good half hour just sitting there and watching my clothes drip.

Do you want to share? Maybe it isn't as bad as it seems to you. I hope.

    Okay well... :(

Last Monday I had made a special time with this really nice lady to teach me how to sew. I was really excited. But with work and being busy 24/7 I just didn't have the time to get the supplies, and I woke up at 9AM that day (class is from 10-1) and it'd just be me and her and I told her the worst thing ever... I told her that my brother had died:eek:

It just came out.. like it came out.. oh god it came out like nothing. Like a sneeze.

Then this morning after another crazy weekend I had everything ready but Rachel was not co-operating with me so early in the morning. I was on my way out with her and then it happened. She fell. Busted her knees and scraped them on the cement. There was no way it was going to be a pleasant day today. So I called her and told her... that maybe next weekend would be better after everything has calmed down.

    :(

I feel like such a douche bag

Sometimes things just don't go your way muddy :o

I'm sure if you explained it to her she'll understand, as you say she is a really nice lady :)

Just to be sure though remember to put on your sad voice and sad face (if in person) just to get that extra bit of sympathy ;)

    Hi everyone

    Bye everyone

Can't stay, have to go into town and bother people who work for a living :D

No way Jose. I'm just going to learn to do it on my own. :( There are lots and lots of stuff on the web. I'll save 100$ on lessons anyway.

    I just feel like a sh!t head.

She said that it was okay that she understood-- just stuff people usually say when you tell them a family member passed.

Ahh. I feel like a dummy. I know what I did was wrong.

Muddy, welcome to be human, we tend to fark up once in a while.

If anyone on this forum has never told a lie, a whopper, then they can yell at you all they want, if they want. I will just sit in the corner remembering the time I told someone that I had to go to the hospital in order to get out of going on a date with him.

I may have told him that it was fatal.

    Sigh.

Shyt happens. Sometimes you open your mouth and words just flow out before you can think it through. Welcome to my world. ;)

Hahaha yea, human. The biggest thing is that you actually feel bad for doing it. It's those people that lie and don't feel bad that are the real bums.

I once told an employer that my grandfather had died to get out of work. He had already passed on, but my boss was such a nice guy he even gave me compassionate pay. Talk about guilty conscious for a VERY long time!
