Well, I can still log on via British Council, a kind of library, if you don't know, with some 15 computers with internet connection. Thank God they don't block that site. Anyway, we can learn from here, and they have blocked gaming sites and sometimes hotmail also is blocked. All this to tell you that I can log on everyday except Monday and Sunday, during at the time when nearly all of you are sleeping (passing off for Sneezy;))

Everyone, I need your help, and I need it yesterday.
My daughter found a baby bird on the sidewalk in front of our house. It has almost all it's feathers, just the head isn't yet covered and of course some of the feathers under the wings etc. I think it may be a chickadee, not sure though. It has a broken wing and I have no idea were the nest is, even if I did, the mother would most likely reject it, because of the wing.
So, it's in a rubbermaid container on top of my heating pad. I've raised baby birds before, but never a wild bird and I have no idea what to feed this little one.
I have a picture, but it's not very good and the flash scares him/her, so I don't want to take another. Any help would be apprecitated, I'd like to keep this little one alive.
Please, anybody, anything?

I answered on the other thread. I can't think of much either! Just maybe trying to call the bird sanctuary, or someone at the SPCA might have an idea or two. I'm trying to think of something else Alty.
Sneezy... quick... take an afternoon veterinary class! LOL! Oh hey Alty... what about calling your vet? They might be able to tell you how to set his little broken wing.

You're killing me starbs... either that or you WANT me dead.
I'd be glad to help but I can't see anything in that picture... can you possibly take a picture with no flash, just lights on?

Nope, automatic flash Sneezy. I've done some research though, it's a yellow breasted finch, probably around 4 days old.
Good news, I got it to eat a little bit, going to try again in 1/2 hour. Dog food, mushed up, that's what my Uncle said and it's been confirmed by many, so that's what the little peeper is getting.
Hopefully it works out, I hope I can keep him alive (yes him, because of the coloring). We'll see, all I can do is try. Wish me luck all. :)
