Sorry to hear that you guys have it gloomy. We have sunshine AGAIN, (I know) but I would give anything for some rain. My grass is dying and my watering bill will be over $400.00 AGAIN!

We finally got some rain yesterday. The remnants of Tropical Storm Fay. Dark and dreary today, but I'm loving it. Got food simmering in the crock pot, curled up with a book (finally not a textbook), and just enjoying the quiet. Back to work tomorrow after 6 days off.

Enjoy your last day off J9. It's gloomy here too, but no rain yet. Sad, usually it's nicer this time of year, but we've had allot of cool gloomy days lately.

The kids go back to school in a week, so I have some back to school shopping to do asap. Yup, I love leaving things until the last minute. Arrrrr! ;)

Today is Sydney's birthday, my little girl is 6 years old. Sigh, were did the time go. :(

I'm reading Nora Roberts Northern Lights. Got the house all clean, nothing else to do. Kids have been at school since Aug 7. This is my rare one week a month off. LOL

I don't really care for it though. It is so easy to get used to, then back to work for 36 hours in a 72 hour period. Makes for one tired woman.

I guess it is like being tease a bit...
I take my Saturday and Sundays very seriously now. I am not used to working all the time, trying to keep up on housework, and trying to give the kids the attention they need without a frown. It is definitely hard to juggle everything. I can see why I had it so good... and didn't even really know it. I should just have another baby, that way I can stay home and all the kids will be fine... JUST KIDDING!

    I said JUST KIDDING...
You know there are just those time where I feel the need...

It's just that, this is really where I belong, I love being a mom, and everything that comes with it. Now that time is limited, I don't feel as good at it as I used to... :( I suppose there is the truth... I didn't know it till I just wrote it. Damn it anyway...

Starty, if there's one thing I've learned in my life, and a word of wisdom, because I am so much older than you. ;)

Never dwell to long on the bad, deal with it and then put it away. Always look forward, never look back, one step at a time will get you there, even if you fall back once in a while.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep walking. Remember, when that road seems to be all uphill, that's when you ask your friends to walk beside you, hold you up, and get you over that hill. Okay?
