Comey secretly met with Secret Service . I have no idea how the meeting went. Had he been a lesser known ;they may have broken down doors at his home and seized his phones and computers investigating such a threat.

In the mob world 86 means drive him 8 miles out of town and bury him 6 feet deep. In today's politics it is used as an expression of resistance by those who may not get they are issuing a threat . Can a former FBI director claim such innocence ?

Comey has been a face of resistance of Trump since 2016 . His agency tried to prevent Trump winning election. Then they spied ;investigated and tried to impeach and imprison him.

The threats escalated during the 2024 campaign . Not only did Trump have to overcome multiple attempts to jail him; but twice assassins tried to kill him. Meanwhile the rhetoric against him by the resistance more than implied that he was such a threat that killing was justified . Would assassinating Hitler been in the world's best interest ? Surely Comey knows that and understands how his meme could be interpreted .

The CNN headline was interesting. "After conservative uproar". So when a former FBI chief calls for violence against a sitting pres, it is only conservatives who should be in an "uproar" over it?

Kash Patel and Dan Bongino said 'nothing to see here' regarding Trump assassination attempts. They said there is no evidence of foreign links to either attempts even though there was clear evidence of foreign hit teams in the US.

This is especially puzzling with what has been found out about Ryan Wesley Routh and his associations with pro-Ukraine groups .

For more "credible statements " by Patel and Bongino see their comments about Epstein's suicide and the boxes and boxes of new evidence they have on Russiagate that they don't plan on doing anything about because of the statute of limitations.

The irony is Routh is a Ukraine fan and could arguably had been acting on their behalf. The same day that he was convicted Trump indicates that he now supports Ukraine's efforts.

Thanks to the investigative journalism of Tucker Carlson ;and the superb reporting of Miranda Divine ,we know that everything we were told in the past was not true regarding the would be assassin of Trump Thomas Crooks .

We now know that he wasn't a lone wolf ;a ghost who had no on line presence. In fact he may have a foreign handler If the reporting is accurate ,the FBI had a treasure trove of information on him that they withheld from the public and Congress.

Now I can understand that when Clueless Joe's FBI was probably at best disinterested and probably bemoaning the fact that he "missed him by this much" . But the Kash Patel FBI ;despite promising a new age of transparency has acted not much different than the FBI led by Dem swamp critters.

Given the sudden release of thousands of Epstein files even after Kash Patel et al insisted there was nothing there ;I am coming to the conclusion that he has made it to the Peter Principle .(in a hierarchy people rise to "a level of respective incompetence".)

Patel was an outstanding investigator for Devin Nunes and Congressional Repubs . So far his record as FBI Director is disturbing .

He is not particularly angry at Patel. He knows the deep state is imbedded in the FBI so Trump's team doesn't really run it.

But it doesn't help that the Trump team is showing a level of incompetence that is shocking .

Afraid I have to update this post . Social media and some in the compliant press noted that VP Vance was not at Mar-a-Lago during the take down of Maduro even though Vance was in Fla. Security concerns was the reason. He was what they call the 'designated survivor' .

Why was this necessary ? Mar-a-Lago is one of the most secure locations since Trump is frequently there.

Maybe this is the answer ...... September Trump Vance Rubio and other staffers did a rare thing . They went out publicly to dine at a restaurant . This was not on the public schedule .

How did word get to Code Pink that he was there . How is it that the restaurant wasn't secured to a point where protesters were able to get inside the restaurant where Trump and key cabinet staffers were dining ?
