CM, you ever try going to a tattoo artist and just looking around the shop? Most of the time, they have their artwork posted everywhere. Also, if you ask nicely, sometimes they can give you a sketch of what they can offer you, and perhaps you can take it from there.
I think a tattoo should be something you absolutely fall in love with before you get into it (kinda like a marriage) but it's a start.

Most of what I'm finding in my book I don't think you'd want on your body. Do you have a memory that seems to stick out in your mind, maybe you can draw something out from that as well.

They are beautiful symbols, but I don't speak Chinese so it wouldn't make any sense to me.

Just watching Nascar together, or riding go carts... as I mentioned before, we never lived close so summer visits were our time to get to get to reknow each other.

The fallen cherry blossom is not taken lightly in Japanese symbolism either. It often represents the beauty of snow and there are many connections made in Japanese literature or poetry to a fallen cherry blossom and snow. This also has been extended to the life of a warrior whose life was ended early in battle.

Okay - there are 2 things I found to share with you but I don't know if you could incorporate these for a tattoo or not...
A circle can be a symbol of perfection, completeness and unity (is considered the most important and universal of all geometric symbols in mystical thought.
Also.. the color blue symbolizes infinity, eternity , truth, devotion...

That's true, but it is a pretty flower, and there is symbolism, albeit Japanese.
