I've never bothered to keep track of how much I was collecting. I decided before I entered college that I was going to go to a school I liked that could give me a good education, regardless of cost. I have 4 years worth of loans that were put toward private college. It'll be at least 5 years worth by the time I actually graduate.

Don't worry... it will be worth it when you are done...

I know. I just have to get everything worked out so I CAN go back. That means paying off the balance I owe from the last semester of classes, and finding reliable transportation to and from classes. A bike is just not going to cut it when it's a 40 minute drive.

I can imagine... took me an hour and a half to drive to uni when I used to go there.. would be insane for me on anything else, including public transport...

I wouldn't mind taking a bus. The only problem is that the nearest bus stop that goes by the college is a 15 minute drive away. Still too far to bike, especially in bad weather.

I have two options. Find someone willing to me at least as far as the bus stop each day and then pick me up from it, or get my license then get a car.

Yeah, I just don't want to rely on someone that much. It's a lot of driving for someone who doesn't need to go back and forth every day. Not only that, but if something happened and they were unable to drive me to or from, I'd have to miss class that day.

That means I need to learn how to drive so I can pass the test and get my license. Then I need to find a reliable car I can afford, and be able to afford insurance and gas for it. I need about 3 more jobs.

No, the american way is working for every penny you can scrounge, just to find out that everything costs two pennies. Us little people don't really get much notice unless we're causing trouble.

In order to get ahead, you need money. In order to get money you need to be ahead.

Wow, my county is spiraling downward faster than I thought. One of the judges is recommending that people carry guns, because there just isn't a police force anymore. There is now ONE car to patrol the entire 720 square miles (that's 1,159 km for the rest of the world).

Glad to know that it's impossible to be safe, now. Makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that if something happens the nearest available patrol car may be more than 100 miles away.

Makes you want to move into the neighborhood, doesn't it?

Maybe I should invest in a lance. Start bike jousting lessons so I can take out anyone who tries to mess with me.

You ever feel like you just NEED to scream, but know you can't? I want to scream (the kind of wordless scream that happens when your jaw's clenched) and hit something, but it's 2am and I have downstairs neighbors.

I think I need to go to bed. Read about a serial killer ghost before I go to sleep. I have a headache again, and I think my hormones are doing cartwheels. It's either sleep, or scream and end up crying.

It's just been one of those days where nothing's really gone wrong, but everything feels like a chore that will never end.
