I'm not sure I'd want you to have a handle on any bigger weapons anyway :p

Biggie, I the 229 used for about 550.. . I'm seriously considering selling it to get a HK P2000SK... I think that may be the only gun I will ever change to.

Hey you two, I'll have you know that I was once quite good with guns. I went to hunter training camp for 4 days in grade 8, had to make my own shelter, start a fire without matches, live on things we gathered in the woods and learn to shoot a rifle and a handgun. Of course I almost killed someone, but that was totally not my fault. ;)

Joking? I wish I could say I was, but sadly, no. No one was hurt, it was just close, that's all. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and nuclear weapons. ;)

I remember it, the person I almost aimed at remembers it, the teachers that came on the trip remember, the police, oh, wait, I didn't mention the police, did I? Okay, I'm kidding about the cops, they weren't called, nope, kidding. :)

I love shooting also! My brother who is always catching me off guard, had me shoot a .410 shotgun when I was 12. He didn't tell me to snug it to my shoulder. He has it on video and although I thought I snugged it, it kicked me back a few yards. LOL
I hunt with a .357 magnum rifle... took my first deer down, kill shot first shot, the day after I bought the gun and sighted it in just before dark. Had to travel to another town to purchase it. I handle a .357 pistol and a .22 revolver. I also have a matched set of Colt .22 deringers that shoots .22 shorts.

A cougar came in under my tree I was in, just a flash and there it was. I barely moved and we were eye to eye. Amazing moment. I was deer hunting with the .357 rifle but had the .357 pistol and had my hand on it as the cougar came in and circled my tree. It was so beautiful. It slowly moved out again. My contacts were getting really dry from the cold air and my trying not to even blink. I barely moved to get a better view of the cougar and he turned and looked right back at me, eye to eye. When I finally had to blink, I deep blinked and there was absolutely no sound made by the cougar but he was gone! Just one of those moments you want to encapsulate in your mind forever... at one with nature just for a few amazing moments!

Thanks Sneezy! Just part of who I am and have always been I guess. I love guns, love shooting, love hunting (but only deer - not ducks!. sounds like the plucked duck might be carrying a weapon herself since she said she is sitting in a tree with a scope. Scary thought. Who gave her the potion that turns her from the Sweet Starby into that ornery duckster!? I love fishing also... went yesterday and do I ever have the excuses for not catching anything... the wind was up, water was choppy, the water level is much higher from all the flood rains, the cows were all laying down... I should have known to just go home... you know, if the cows are standing up eating, good fishing, if they are laying down, may as well go home. I told my nephew that when I took him fishing. That was a jaw-dripping moment for that little guy who had never even roasted a hot dog out side and we did that also, down by the water. :) I had a good one on the line but didn't set the hook good enough and lost that one! The cows were right!!
P.S. I do prepare the catch or kill and do not waste it. That is a huge NO NO in my book!! Too much beauty out there... must be responsible!
Hey wait, this is the sanitarium!! I forgot... I forgot... I forgot... I drank the water with the little pill and am getting dozy.. I better not take a shot now or I will have to get Alty and see how she got out of trouble when she almost... you know... almost did someone in..

You know the Duckster!! Where there's a will, there's a way!! LOL
Must be a tiny little scope but maybe a big gun... little duckster carries a big gun?? That's a scary thought.
:::EDIT::: Sadly must say goodnight! Sweet Dreams to all!
DON'T TAKE THE MINTY PILL THEY GIVE US, I DON'T THINK THEY ARE BEING TRUTHFUL!! Caution, Caution, Caution!!!

Rebby, when'd you start riding? And did you have to convince your parents to let you ride a bike?
As you know, I bought a gsx-r 750 earlier... to my mother's dismay (I don't blame her... she lost her brother when she was younger to a motorcycle accident), then sold it.
I really want a cbr rr 1000... but... I'm not so sure she'll be too happy.

I just found out that my cat had some kind of allergy and well she had an itchy lesion on her head, the vet said it wasn't anything serious and that all I had to do was put an ointment on her wound. Almost a week later she is now sneezing uncontrollably and I am really worried that this could be a...
