    Awww he's adorable!

My phone is terrible for taking photos, especially inside! My camera doesn't like taking photos inside either even with the flash on.

    Outside however, it's awesome :D

Here's some snaps from last Saturday, that's me with my mums new dog. Mum is having some health problems so I got roped into showing Molly... little bee wouldn't get her tail up because right as she entered the ring a guy decided it would be a good time to advertise raffle tickets over the loud speaker

Gorgeous Shazzy. One of these days I am going to try my hand at showing. I think I would love it.

You would Bella it's so much fun! More fun with a dog where you don't have to panic about crushing their hair!

She got Best of Breed Red, wasn't expecting anything more as they have only had her a week and she's still settling in. That was only the 3rd time I had met her so she wasn't very comfortable with me.

I took Cyrus along for the day, he wasn't entered but thought he could tag along for some socialising and practice.

And well... we have had a breakthrough! He actually runs with his head up and doesn't drop it any more! I think it was mostly the cold weather making him a bit nervous/skittish but on Saturday it was lovely and he trotted along like a little trooper!

Congratulations on the Best of Breed. She should have a very good future ahead of her.

I am glad Cyrus figured out where his head is. :D

Thanks Cat, I guess the penny dropped finally!

And of course Bella, I'll give you a crash course in handling :D

How much time do I spend on grooming her?
Oh you make me laugh, I sat back, enjoyed a beverage and watched mum do it :D
She has to be fully brushed through every second day, that takes about an hour. Her whole head and neck as sectioned and banded so it doesn't matt.

For the show it takes about 3 hours the night before then about an hour at the actual show.
Dryng takes about an hour and you have to constantly brush to get the hair as straight as possible, then scissoring can take anywhere from an hour to 2 hours.

The hair on her head as banded at the base and then teased and hairsprayed.

My recommendation... never buy a show poodle.

That was pretty good 'best of breed'

If there was a prize for 'breed who barks at birds, flies, shadows, leaves, the wind' my dog would be in with fair chance.

He's protecting the back yard, but forgets to stop barking.

Great pics shaz! That's a lot of hair, but beautiful:)

I spend 1/2 an hour a dog just on the ears, but that's because they like to eat the brush:rolleyes:

I HATE brushing ears with a passion Dahlia, which is why I shaved both of mines ears short :D
I'm growing them back now because it looks prettier but give me a couple of months and they no doubt will be back short again :D
