It was Joes picture first then I stole it and had my son (computer literate) put it on. I loved it, it was the second time I spit on my monitor in two days. Grossssss. I thought about thumper when I was talking about eating the greens and not the flower, and then you put him on there. That is weird J_9. Oh well, it was a discussion between my son and I and I think I made my point! Hugs, Start

Oh no Start that is SCARY!!

I am glad you made your point!!

This morning I was taking the girls (my daughter and her best friend) to swim team practice and there is this police car sitting at a bank (it was robbed recently). I said "oh look girls they have a dummy sitting in the police car!"

Oh, boy did I get in TROUBLE!! Johhny yelled at me for saying a bad word. LOL!!

Dummy is certainly a bad word.

Watch your mouth. My son maxy just turned four and he is constantly asking if f--- is a bad word, or s--- is and so on and so on... I laugh it off but now that he knows the answer it will start to drive me crazy. We aren't even allowed to say shut up or stupid in my house. Only my husband can say anything he wants. Sometimes mom. Since I quit smoking I have been cursing and drinking a lot more coffee. I don't get what Al is looking for? Do I need one?

    I'm confused about thumper...

My friend is having a baby shower next weekend... I just thought it was funny is all.. I will have to order one.. thank CBW, and J.

IM ready to go home... but my son had a relapse this week with his constipation ( he suffers from chronic const.) and IM not looking forward to dealing with all that either. I could only take so much of the suppositories and enemas before I was pregnant, and it definitely is bad now... I wish there was an easier way to deal with this. I hate to see him screaming in pain. But I have read pretty much everywhere that this is just the way it is...

You know... as an aunt (not a mother), it drives me NUTS when people make non-swear words into "words we don't use in our house"

If you don't use them in your house, you'd better give me a list. I'm not going to memorize everyone's rules.

I don't swear around kids, but I'll be darned if I stop using "shut up".

Oh, I have been through the bad word stage. Johnny threw a toy car up at the ceiling and it didn't hit and he yelled DAMMIT!!

The best though was the other day when hubby was out doing some yard work and Johnny asked him to do something (I can't remember what) and hubby said "no, not right now" then Johnny said to daddy "What? Are you a P***Y!!"

OMG, I wanted to wash his mouth out with soap but I started laughing too hard. Good thing hubby kept a straight face and straightened that one out so I didn't have to.

I swear around my kids, can't lie. When I drop something I say s--- or well you know that kind of stuff, never would I swear at them. Shut up, stupid, and retarded are the words I find most offensive if used in the wrong way! Just my opinion.

I'd probably feel differently if I were the parent, honestly.

I just hate it when I say something - especially if I'm TALKING to the adult, and the kids just happen to be there -- along the lines of " I did something really stupid the other day" and have that "Oh, we don't use stupid in our house" line tossed at me. I mean... what? I can't call myself or my actions stupid?

I can understand the whole name calling thing--we don't call each other names in MY house either. But to ban a word from conversation drives me nuts. I just want to jump up on the table and start shouting "STUPID! STUPID!" over and over.

(yeah, I am a little riled up today)

Hahahaha, I love kids. A big bunch, my oldest son just asked me if I heard that and now he is telling me about the ground bloom flower he blew a bottle up with. Yes I am paying attention to the kids. At least I thought I was.

Yes, you can talk about your day as being stupid, no name calling and I am cool. You hate authority don't you? I want to see you jump on a table and say Stupid stupid stupid
