Hey there Stringer and Starty! How's things going?
Yoga, huh? How long have you been doing Yoga. Stringer, do you do Yoga?
My daughter has been doing Yoga for a few years. She shows me positions that are just amazing. I will post one that is just peaceful to look at. She might not want me posting images but I think this one will be OK. I was going to do a series of paintings so she did several poses for me for me to photograph.

Well, I was going to attach one more but the "Manage Attachment" button is not working for me at the moment.

Her two children, ages 3 and 1 1/2 already know several poses, especially the 3 year old. It is great to develop his balance. He knows all the correct names for the positions. I have thought about doing yoga but I had a thought that beat that one! LOL Maybe someday!

Ohhh that is peaceful... I love it! I have been doing Sun Salutations, they are mostly just a series of stretches that are supposed to be helpful for being more limber and adding a bit of muscle to my body. Also it is suppose to make my back stronger, and I really need that! I had Grady 14 years ago and I haven't excersized since. So my friend said strt here, and that is where I am... I started them about a month and a half ago and I add push ups and squats. It feels great but my back is hurting so I have to be careful. I haven't made an attempt to go full on YOGA! I will though, maybe then I will be ready for kick boxing too, they have a course at the college that gits yer groove on every quarter so I can start when I want to! Thanks for the pic, I am going to sit down and see if I can do that!

How about big brown sad puppy dog eyes, will you accept that in lieu of a doctors note?

Got to run. Later all, be good, it shouldn't be hard with my bad influence absent. :)

I understand about back issues. Not fun. I was in a wreck in Nov. and another in Dec. then had an accident this spring in my hallway! Been going to a chiro since Nov. but he is helping. My ribs keep going out and causes extreme burning. My daughter is always after me to shape up and I know she is right. I use to walk three miles a day after working an 8 hour job and now?? "Nuthin' honey!" I am in horrible shape. I ride my motorcycle and lift and carry grandbabies but that is about it. LOL I will try to attach this one more image.

My daughter says this pose is a very difficult one for her. She held it for awhile bless her little heart, giving me time to get a few photos of it.

    Hay you :)

Rebel... the first pics looks real comfy (really), I am double jointed in my shoulders, elbows, thumbs, knees and ankles... so to be able to stretch like that would feel so good and would probably pop some of these aches and pains, lol. However, the second pic... that just hurts my arms to look at it, hehehe.

    Jan,
I can do the first pose no problem! But the second pose, wow!
I want to be able to do that:)

We have a Yoga CD now and I did do it one day and plan on making it a regular practice. I would love to be flexible enough to actually touch hold my toes with my fingers.

    Oh and Hi everyone!;)
