I'm back for a minute kids, need a break. :)

Sydney fell and scraped both her knees, the poor kid has my clumsiness, she'll never be a model with all the scars on her legs. :) Oh well, she can thrive for being a doctor, or an artist (that's her dream this week). :)

Jared is bored, even though there's so much to do. It's one of those days. Mommy, I have no one to play with. Me: Have you asked any of the neighbor kids? Kids: No, but there's no one to play with. Me: How about you clean your room. Kids: I don't want to , I'm bored. Me: Cleaning your room will give you something to do. Kids: But it isn't fun. What can I do mommy? Me: Play with your toys? Kids: I don't want to, I'm bored.

Is it just me or were we more resourceful when we were kids? Sigh, I'm tired. ;)

Alty, I wouldn't say I was more resourceful, maybe just entertained more easily! LOL I use to get a huge Northern Tissue Cardboard box and cut out doors that would open and close on the side, steering wheels made from the flaps, use a marker and put a draw radio in it. I climbed trees and had tree houses with places for thermoses to hang, little boards to wedge here and there to make shelves, do art with salt, color the salt and make pictures on the dining room table... but then, that was before so many DVD's, computer games and I was quite the Tomboy! I would catch baby frogs and put them in a large tub, put dirt and grass in it, make little rivers, place rocks for the frogs to sit on, etc. LOL I still catch them but now I put them in a terrarium for my grands to watch. Well, I do watch them too! Ha. Now I hold two grands on my lap at a time and we do the "Bowing" (bowling) game on the computer with the three year old using the mouse and Nonnie and the 1 1/2 year old giving high fives for good scores. LOL Oh, and Labyrinth of course. My how times change. You are a good mom Alty!! I can tell by your posts about your family. The time passes quickly little girl. Wish I had my two sitting here now! Well, yeah but plus my five grands also and guess I can't have my two little plus the grands, well, as you can tell I am getting a little blitzed... I think the castle must have done something to my brain waves!!

Reb... it is good to see you, you were gone for a while... missed your sweetness and your wisdom. Glad you are back.

Well M, I must leave now, need to be bright eyed and busy tailed for tomorrow's meeting. You will now have the badge and the gun... use force only when and where necessary, remember your training son... Pull that black hat down over your eyes, you'll look more authoritative and mysterious. Stop spinning the gun buddy, it IS loaded you know... and why do you think I have only three toes on my right foot?

Nightall, (Sounds like a Canadian cough medicine.)

Stringer... love you all, sure hope it is reciprocal.

I hope you all had a great day Joe! :) Sorry I missed you yesterday! :(

Hi Momma C! How are you sweetie? I just stopped in for a quick peek. I can't stay on the puter for too long. It makes my headache a lot worse when I do. So I guess I will just have to stay away except for short Hi's, until I feel better! :(

HI Sneezy. Glad you enjoyed the flick. I have to wait a while before it hits the movies here or have to wait to rent it. I love all the Batman movies, so I will patiently wait.

I don't think a deceased person can be nominated for an Oscar.

They can. The oscar's been posthumously awarded in the past.
