Does the op really have an issue, oh yeah, he sure does, his neighbors are out of line with the 12:35am BS. Is he right to complain? oh yeah,he sure does. Is his comment of race off,oh yeah(in my world anyway) it sure is.
Then the question is, Do I judge him for his views, actually YES I do!(I also sympathize to an extent, not on race,or even class, but on being decent HUMAN beings, respectful of not only their own, but their neighbors comfort)He has little else to blame except ?them?, I guess.
Anyway, this is such an old post I am probably not going much further with it, just here to support a friend.

I believe the only reason you can actually sit there and relate to this guys pain, or even empathize is because he's white... and so are you. If this were someone of another race referring to your own, you'd be all over them and that post of yours would have been so much more aggressive or better yet, dominant. It sound like you were smoking a cigar when you wrote that, at your most relaxed mind state. But I guess it's hard for you to personally take effect by it.

I have met white people who are just as rude and disrespectful as any colored person.
White people get no "get out of jail free" card. There are white people who are horrible! Just look at all those rednecks down south. Nasty, horrible, self centered people.
I have met very respectful, pleasant colored people. And I have met rude ones. I have met mexicans who are the coolest person I've ever met, and I've met the ones who are lazy and want everything done for them.
Personality has nothing to do with color. Its all in how that person was raised. What's happened in that persons life. Not the color of skin.
To be racist is ignorance. Racist people are hateful towards the human race. There is always something wrong with someone. Racist people live in a small world with very little possibilities.. Even the top executives that are secretively KKK members (or whatever supremesist group is popular right now) are very naïve, very closed minded and are teaching their kids horrible things.
I love the bumper sticker that says Co-Exist. Its such a wonderful dream to be in a world with no hate!

And I agree. If that were the case, I am black, and I can be racist due to the nasty white people down in the south and some up here. Or the nasty racist CO's in prison that beat my black men for nothing, as I have worry about my husband day in and out, but I don't. Because still after all that, I cannot just hate all for one, because hate isn't in my blood
