Davidson College temporarily suspends Chick-fil-A from school events

    The reason?

“The Davidson College Union Board is firmly committed to building an inclusive community that serves each member of our student body,” Nassar and Joe said in a joint statement Monday.
Building inclusiveness by exclusion. You lefties make no sense.

    Hello again, Steve:

What is your problem with people who follow their beliefs? You seem to think the church is the only organization that can do that.

Look... Chick-fil-A is entitled to let the country know how it feels about same sex marriage, and the country is entitled to let Chick-fil-A know how IT feels about same sex marriage...

Been there a million times, my problem is the hypocrisy of protesting and excluding a company that practices non-discrimination in its service and hiring. As has been said repeatedly, IF Chik-Fil-A, the company, and its franchisees discriminated you'd have a case to be made, but they don't so you have no basis, just like this goofy college.

You guys have your priorities backward, declaring people guilty to exact punishment and retribution - guilty until proven innocent. You did it with Chik-Fil-A nationwide and you did it with the Romney "tax dodger" rumor. Now you're excluding to be "inclusive" with no evidence of wrongdoing. That's just bizarre.

    Hello again, Steve:

I'm sorry you don't approve of MY decision making process. But, I'll decide WHO I like, and why. And I'll decide what I'm going to DO about it...

That's fine by me, but if you're going to argue you really ought to have an argument.

But hey, if you want to punish people before having any evidence of wrongdoing that's up to you. Maybe if franchisees and their employees were union workers you'd change your tune? But who cares if the little guy suffers because of your misdirected anger, or if a man gets branded a tax cheat, murderer and slave master for no valid reason, right?

    Hello again, Steve:

Again, I'm sorry my evidence doesn't measure up to your high standards... Fortunately, I don't have to meet YOUR standards.. Mine will do just fine.

Even though the owner of Chick-fil-A has the right to speak PUBLICLY about gay marriage, I have the right to say he's WRONG, and to DO whatever I please about it.

I agree, but the 'owner' of Chik-Fil-A is the corporate head. How many other owners of franchises are you taking your frustration out on who had nothing to do with Cathy's remarks? Why should they have to pay a price??

He didn't put anyone down, he just stated he believes in traditional marriage... the same thing your president did until recently.

I guess you're going to tell me the Family Research Council guard that was shot yesterday by an LGBT volunteer deserved it because he works for people who believe in traditional marriage?

Dude, you're the one who has spent the last week telling me that repeating Obama's words "you didn't build that" is as nasty as saying Romney killed a steelworker's wife. What, you've changed your mind?
