I can tell you that at one time in my life I opened death's door, yet I did not go through. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 32... that was 12 years ago.

To make a long story short, I was a -A cup (LOL), so wanted bigger breasts (got 'em), went through chemo, but I needed a new haircut (perms and haircolor do such bad things to your hair)... did not have to shave my legs for 6 months, AND don't get "high beams" when I go through the freezer section of the supermarket!! :D :D

    Positive things list:
    1. I'm in a loving relationship, got engaged and am planning the wedding
    2. Have been on a good job for over a year now
    3. I can re-sit the professional qualification exam that I failed last week.
    4. Was invited for an interview for a another, even better job. I wouldn't have gotten this interview last year.
    5. A friend that I had not heard from for about a year got in touch and added me on Facebook
    6. I have a loving family, and also really like my future husband's family as well
    7. I can run half marathons, and am planning on running another one soon
    8. I live close to one of the most exciting cities in the world and have travelled (and lived) in so many places - so different to my starting point
    9. I am planning on enrollig on a part time masters course from this autumn
    10. Although I dropped out of uni for a couple of years, I got back and graduated (although it took me ages)
    11. It is a nice, sunny day today and it is beginning to smell of spring.

That is my list for now. Looks good to me, so should not feel blue any more but enjoy life and be prowd of self.
