    Hi everyone.

I didn't read back, I'm still a bit out of it. We got home at around 4pm (my colonoscopy was at 11:30). I crawled right to bed and stayed there until just now. Still shaky and really groggy, but I had to come on to tell you all the news.

    I'm okay! :)

I have internal hemorrhoids and IBS. Apparently the hemorrhoids are in the lower intestine (I think that's what he said. I was a bit out of it and that's what R told me he said).

So, I'm on new medication. Pills I take 3 times a day (before each meal) which should help with the IBS and a wonderful suppository that should shrink the hemorrhoids. If that doesn't work, surgery in a few months.

So, I am now on Synthroid, Celexa, iron pills, IBS pills and a poop shoot pill. Some have to be taken on an empty stomach, others have to be taken right before food. This schedule is going to be interesting. ;)

The good news is that I'm okay. I plan to celebrate that tomorrow, when I'm a bit more awake.

Thank you all for being there to hold my hand. I really appreciate it, more then you'll ever know. :)

Hon, that is the best news I have had in a long, long time... I am so glad. You can deal with the hemorrhoids een if an operation is necessary... Thanks for the great news!

Stringer, I'm giddy. As giddy as I can be considering I'm still groggy. It is great news.

This can be dealt with, it will be dealt with. The IBS will likely bother me the rest of my life but apparently I've been living with it most of my life anyway, so I can deal with that, and now I have pills to help.

The doctor said that the hemorrhoids are most likely because of the IBS and of course two pregnancies. My mother had a few surgeries because of hemorrhoids, that diagnosis just never crossed my mind.

I'll be seeing my regular doctor for a full physical on Tuesday. I'm not sure if I'll still be going for the CT scan on April 6, I'll ask my doctor when I see him. Probably not a bad idea to do it, just to make sure there's nothing else that doesn't show up on a colonoscopy.

Bella, no beer until tomorrow. :( Tis okay, I'm too tired anyway.

I have a thyroid condition Clough, have for many years. I've been on synthroid for 11 years now. Celexa is an antidepressant, I've been on that since 2001. The iron pills are because my hemoglobin is still very low, because of the blood loss, for which we now have a cause.
