A mandated rule voted upon by all us that are blessed with wisdom and experience from our advanced age. Although the rule says that we have to share all that stuff... of well.:p

Giggle, I get such a kick out of you Stringer, you always put a smile on my face. :)

I'm proud to be 37, I've learned allot in my 37 years and plan to learn even more in the years I still have ahead of me (which I hope are allot). It's hard sometimes when you answer a post knowing that you are right, and the OP doesn't want to hear it, that's when age and wisdom becomes a curse, because you've lived through all of this stuff already and know the outcome, but your advice falls on deaf ears. Frustrating.

Oh well, live and learn, sometimes you just have to let people make their own mistakes and hope that they come out okay in the end. Right?

I was supposed to go to a friends outdoor wedding today and go figure, it rained. But since I was up all night, I'm not going.

Biggie, I do try, and sometimes it works (not talking about you sweetie, you always listen to good advice, and you are smart enough to figure it out on your own), but there are times that you just want to reach through the monitor and slap the OP or someone else, it's like talking to a brick wall. Oh well, all we can do is try, right? I won't give up, even though at times I want to wack my head against that brick wall. ;)

Chameleon, good idea to stay home. Are you going to the reception?

Oh, we have to think of a nickname for you Chameleon, as you see on this site we all have nicknames, I'm Alty, Big Bird is Biggie, Starbuck is Starby, etc. etc. How about Chamy, sound good?

That or rabby or toad... dont ask, really...
No, I figure ill get the deets from another friend who was going... the town where she's getting married is about 30 minutes away. I wanted to make her a wedding afghan, bit hesitate to because I don't know her colors, and also because 2 years ago I made her a hat and scarf set in pink and white for christmas and never heard anything about them. I had to ask her then boyfriend if she liked them and he said yeah... why go through all the work for someone who won't appreciate it, especially when I'm a perfectionist about my craft.

True. I make tables, and other wooden things, two years ago I made 9 end tables as Christmas presents for my family. Only 5 people commented on them or thanked me. The other 4 said nothing, but I have gotten positive responses from people who have visited them and seen the table, and they all tell me that the recipients love them, that would have been nice to hear first hand, I worked my butt off. ;)

Hey guys, I've got to run for now, the house isn't going to clean itself, sad but true. ;)

I'll be back a bit later. Behave while I'm gone, no throwing bunny poo. :)

    Alty out, for now. :)

I did not grow up with pictures of Donny Osmond, David Cassidy, and Peter Frampton on my bedroom wall! Really, no really, really I didn't! Okay... but maybe just one of each. They were there for therapeutic reasons! Yes that is what I said... therapeutic!

String man? I think we should notify the AMHD police to investigate this Alty girl!. I think she may be a troll!  :p :D
