Here are a couple of photos from the weekend...
There was only one taken of me and Cyrus because V is camera challenged
I'm in the black suit in the first photo with Cyrus (and a Cavalier puppy + Judge) He won Best Baby Puppy in Group :D
Second photo is of my Dad and his dog Kade who as of Sunday is now an Australian Champion.

Congratulations to your dad and Kade. He is a lovely animal.
Congrats to Cyrus for winning Best Baby Puppy in group. :) Good luck to both of you in the next show.
Cyrus looks very good next to that black suit. You make the black suit look good, too. :)

How many dogs did Kade have to compete against for his Championship?
Over here the number for Danes is in the middle 3 figures.
Congratulations to him and to Cyrus!

Thanks everyone!
And thanks Cat, I love love love that suit :D
I think our system is a bit different to the US.
Here you have to get 100 points for a Ch. Title.
Each breed challenge is worth a standard 6 points, plus 1 point extra for every dog you beat up to a maximum of 25 points.
Dogs can only earn 25 points up until they are 12 months old so it is impossible to title a dog under 12 months of age.
There weren't any other Danes at that show so it was only a 6 point challenge... he didn't do any good in group due to his weight... he has been pining over the b*tches (who are all spayed) for the past week and dropped a lot of weight.

A couple more for you.
Have a look at the photo of Kade and you might pick one of the reason he isn't going to be shown much any more ;)

Straight stifles ;)
To give him more angle you have the tuck his legs under which makes his topline slope.
Good spotting on the elbow Cats, I didn't even notice that in the photo... we have no idea how they are forming, they're on both elbows even though he lays on soft surfaces.
Yep, and definitely the ribs Dahlia, he is getting his implant in next week, it is sort of like implanon for humans, it represses the urge to mate as well as curbs aggression.

I thought the stack was just off. Yah, time to rest on his laurels.
Normally the callus is an age related development. He looks to be about 4 - 6 in the photos. How far off am I?

He is not quite 18 months old ;)
They are hanging up his leash for now but they are going to give it about a year and then decide if he has improved or gotten worse. Most Danes don't start to mature fully until after they turn 2 so he has some time before he loses some important dangly bits between his legs ;)

CA - No Pets Law
[ 1 Answers ]
I have been doing research online and I noticed in NY, that if a tenant has a pet for longer than 3 months and the landlord is aware of it and the landlord does not enforce the "no pets" terms of the lease than the tenant can keep the pet for the length of their tenancy. In the state of California...
Pets by marriage

If my partner and I take the next big step of living together, we would be bringing together two sets of pets (still an if at this stage, although we've both wondered how we would deal with all the pets if we did).
He lives on a 5 acre property with a big, gorgeous, cat friendly Rottweiller...
