    I was wondering how important is the past relationship. How detailed I should be on the past relationship. What should I be mentioning to him.
    Having an abusive relationship... severe trauma etc. I don't want to remember the past.
    But, how to handle this?

    I understand that you want to be truthful and honest with a new person that you meet. However, keeping your past private from someone you have just met is not cheating. Before I would open up completely I would get to know this new person first and then I would try and determne exactly how much he needs to know about my past history.

    I agree. But one day, I should be opening up to the new guy.
