    I NEVER said that! I don't condone it, and I don't think any state authorities would either. I'm saying there is no specific LAW. This is a law forum.

    The point is there are a variety of laws that can be applied to the situation - abandonment, abuse, neglect, contributing to delinquency and related areas of law could all be applied depending on the state and circumstances.
