Never buy a Hampton Bay fan. This site if full of complaints and unresolved problems regarding this fan. Change it out and you will not have any more problems

Or contact the manufacturer directly.
I hate Hampton Bay. I recommend Hunter, Casablanca, Emerson, and Envirofan.

Lowe's does not carry the bulb for the hampton bay fan. The size of the bulb base is in between regular and candelabra.

You morons have no idea what you are talking about. Hampton bay has many different bulbs and they are SUPER specific. Home Depot does NOT carry replacements nor do specialty electrical supply or lighting houses. Bottom line? GOOD LUCK!
For example, my most recent hampton bay issue was in looking for a 40 watt candelabra bulb measuring 1" diameter by 2 3/4" show me where you find that on this planet

Atlantalightbulbs.com has the replacement bulb. It's about 7.00 plus shipping.

I'm using s11 appliance bulbs in mine - you can order those all over the internet. They are not as bright as I would like, and I burn through 3 a month! I'm asking the landlord to change the fan or buy my light bulbs, but I won't hold my breath.

I also have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan/light... But Lowe's does NOT carry the bulb that I need for the light. It is not 60 watt bulb, but a 120v100w fluorescent dimmable bulb. Which is why I am on line now trying to find the best place to buy that isn't going to cost a great deal for shipping.

Well, I just went to Home Depot with the light bulb in my hand and Home Depot doesn't stock it. Now what?
