This is just my opinion. I thought he went from her to you in a matter of weeks. Knowng that its been 5 years almost tells me that its less of an issue caused by his ex and more of a personal issue he has with trusting and insecurities. Rick |

That's a question you have to figure out on your own. We can only give you ideas and advice based on our personal feelings and what we would do in a similar situation. I mean he's had 5 years to solve this issue (if it was caused by his ex). This leads me to believe that this is an issue that derives prior to ever meeting his ex. Although, it could have been his ex, things like this can stick with a person forever. How affected was he by it? I don't know. The level of patience is a reflection on your feelings toward him and the relationship as a whole. Is this an issue caused by his ex or is he naturally a non-trusting, insecure person? I can't decide, I do not know this guy. Rick |

No, your not impatient, but I bet your quite fed up, and rightfully so because if he hasn't dealt with his demons in 5 years and found a way to be happy and secure, then he just isn't ready, and that's something to honestly share, and you have numerous times so now, what's the point of hoping he changes after 3 months? You tell him to get his act together or get gone. |
