I understand that rules and 'guidelines' aren't going to stop rude people from being rude. And like excon said, politeness is relative. You got frustrated because I continued to pursue the issue. I continued to because I do not believe that just because one fine was already implemented, other fines do not need to be (see above statement to Cvillecpm). I have rights as a tenant and I was exploring them. If you got frustrated because you thought I wasn't getting your point, then all you had to do is simply stop responding.

The difference about this scenario and the one you gave an example of is that there isn't enough information for you to jump to such conclusions about why I was inquiring about such laws. If I had simply stated, “what is the penalty of returning late security deposits” it would not fully answer my question due to the 'move out date' ambiguity. If you think I posted the move out date penalty to show I wanted revenge on my landlord, that is simply an unfair assumption.

I just think that ScottGem could have used a little more discretion and held his own opinions about my situation to himself since he did not and does not understand fully what my situation is. That is all.

Lets look at the above comment. You think that I should have held my opinions to myself. But I notice you have had no problems with expressing your opinions however wrong they are. It's a two way street my friend, but you seem to want things only your own way. If things don't go your own way you keep looking for ways to get your own way. That is a very valid comment based on what you have posted and only on what you have posted.

I was "frustrated" by anything. You asked for help, I helped. You continued to ask for clarification, I tried to clarify. But it came to a point where it appeared that weren't going to accept any explanation that didn't fit your interpretation of what should happen. So I commented on that. Four people, now have told you the same thing. Yet you still refuse to accept it.

All I'm doing is pointing out how YOU have acted here. You need to wake up to the reality of what you have said.

I did not want any misconceptions or presumptuous opinions to be formed about my motives, therefor I refuted with comments that point out that your opinions were formed on very little information and ultimately unjustified. No, my opinion has not made it seem that way. YOUR words and actions have. That's what you refuse to see. All I've done is point out the message you are giving by your actions. You can say whatever you want. But you actions contradict your words.
